Santa, Boat Rides and Birthdays!!!

Santa came to our house this morning, the day before Christmas!!! We had 8 kids over and they all seemed to love it. Each child got 2 presents from Santa and got to sit on his lap and tell him what they wanted. The kids had so much fun and were so excited to see Santa....\

Emily and Ethan sitting on Santa's lap. This made their mom very happy!!!!

The organizer, Aunt Carol.....thank you so much, they all loved it!!!

Santa with most of the kids, Ruby and Abby decided to sit out.

Santa and TT. Sorry about the stupid background, my fault.....I'm so mad about that!!!!

On Tuesday night my family took a Duffy boat ride through Naples to look at the Christmas lights. We all had a wonderful time. Here is a picture of my dad throwing something overboard.....what could it be???? He had a hard time holding it if you know what I mean.....

Trevor and his great cousins....Emily and Ethan.

Monday night we celebrated my cousin Christy's 40th birthday. They flew in from Boston that day with a 5 hour weather delay so they were pretty exhausted, but we were happy to celebrate!! Happy Birthday!!! We love you!

Flag Football

We signed Trevor up for this little flag football class through the city. It is so cute to watch and he seems to really like it. He is such a goofball though......when he is running to go catch someone he always has this silly face and his arms are flailing everywhere. I guess we need to teach him some form and start doing some running drills with him. He starts "real" baseball in a couple of months and we can't have him running the bases like that!!!

BIG BIG GAME

"Our" team" has a very big game tonight starting at 5:00. The kids are sleeping so they can be well rested and I just got back from a massage so I will be well rested. We need to beat Oklahoma State at Oklahoma State by a huge margin to have any hopes of making it to the big game, even then we are still going to be relying on computers!!! Wish us luck!!! GO SOONERS!!!!

Thanksgiving and the day after.....

We started off our day by doing the "Turkey Trot" down in Seal Beach. I took the kids (along with Kelly, of course) and we did the 5K walk/run. We of course walked, stopped for juice and snacks, stopped to get out of the stroller and then back in (about 10 times) and crossed the finish line with the time of.....1:03, that means 1 hour and 3 minutes, yes, one hour to finish 3 miles!!!!!! The kids had a great time and I guess 3 miles is 3 miles! Next year I told Don that him and Trevor should run it together, I think they could do it. Julie and Claire also joined us, thank you for being troopers and hanging back with us and the kids.
We had a great dinner at my parents house and Don's mom was able to join us, so it was nice to be together. The only family we were missing was Don's sister, Mike, Lona and the Shultz family. We were able to use Kevin's computer and ichat with the Shultz in New Hampshire (the first time and coolest thing ever)!!! As you can see, Trevor loved it. He was running through the room making funny faces and kissing the screen the whole time, I think we need to get one!!

I thought this picture was too cute. Kelly is such a fantastic auntie. She took the day off of work on Wednesday and took the kids to Chuck E Cheese AND just ordered tickets to take Trev to Mideivel Times on Sunday, thanks for all that you do Kelly!!

Friday morning Jeana, Kelly and I rounded up the troops and headed down to the Huntington Beach Nature Center. We walked the trail, threw sticks in the lake, fed the ducks, played at the playground AND sat down and ate lunch at the cutest little outside cafe. We were able to sit down and actually eat uninterrupted lunch with the kids because there was a big field that they could run through as we were eating. It was great, I'm sure we will be going back there soon.
TT being as cute as ever.

Finally.....during naps I put a majority of the Christmas decorations up in our house. The kids woke up and thought it was the coolest thing they have ever seen. They sat and played with our village until I made them stop (Trev just woke up, that is the only reason he is still in the diaper!!!). Christmas is going to be so fun this year, can't wait!!!

Blogging funk!!!

So I have been in a blogging funk if you haven't noticed! I apologize Christy, I know how much you miss my kids and enjoy reading and seeing them. Here are some pictures of the last couple of weeks, it has been so long that I couldn't even remember what we have been up to until I looked at the pictures.....

Here is a picture of TT sitting in her time out chair which she has been doing alot more of lately. She is fascinated with cleaning, which is a good thing, but unfortunately she likes to use all the wipes and leaves them everywhere...........hence, the timeout!

I took the kids to their first Mayfair Football game a couple of weeks ago, we couldn't go on the sidelines but they had so much fun!!!

Trevor and TT with their friends Miles and Morgan at the game.

This is from one of our trips to the nature center.

We also took the kids to Sea World on Veterans Day. It was super crowded but they had tons of fun. We also got a great deal where we can come back any time through 2009 for free!!!

Last week we went over to my cousins house so he could take pictures of the kids. This is Taylor jumping in the jumperoo. She loved it when she was a baby and almost broke it as a toddler. Abby also couldn't get enough of the saucer, the only time she was contained!!!!

The kids had their Thanksgiving Feast and performance last week. I will try to upload video from it tomorrow, taking too long tonight! TT playing with her bubbles.

This was the best I could do with the both of them.

Jeana and I took Trevor and Ruby to see Bolt on Saturday. Trev said he didn't like it because it was too scary, I thought it was great.

The kids' school was closed this week so we have been tag teaming. Today I took the day off of work and we met Ang, Brady and Aubrey at Pump it Up. They had so much fun.

Most of the last week has been spent like this.........in front of the TV playing Mario Kart. Trev would play this all day everyday if we let him. It is nice to have something to hang over his head if he is a bad boy, and it keeps us all entertained!!

Our neighbors gave us this little bike last week and Don took trev out today to see if he could ride it, first time.......can you believe it????? He never even rode the one with training wheels that he got for his birthday because it was too tall for him, I think he is going to bypass the training wheels!

I will try to be better, I promise!!!

Pumpkins,Halloween, Weekend Fun and............Small People

On Thursday night we (Don) carved our pumpkins, this was the winner, isn't it good? Trev and TT lasted about 5 minutes. Trevor wasn't real excited about putting his hand in the goop but did it only because his 2 year old sister did it first.

Kind of out of order, but on Sunday we spent the day at my parents house. I was trying to keep the kids up and not give them naps because I really really wanted to go to bed early and have a little bit of piece and quit. This is what the living room looked like before we left (don't worry...I always clean before we leave).

My mom reading a book to TT.

Papa reading a book to Trev, isn't this picture great???

We busted out the Disney Bingo game that we have and they loved it. TT is finally at the age that she actually plays and not messes it all up, Abby on the other hand...........which is why they are all sitting at the island!!!

On Halloween night we had both families over for some trick or treating and pizza. The kids dressed up as matching pirates (thanks mom....she made both of their costumes and they were so so cute). We trick or treated for almost 2 hours and the kids did great. I had to go home about half way through to get the push car for TT and a grocery bag for the candy because their bags were weighing them down. I'm so bummed though because I didn't get hardly and pictures, nanny is the only one who got a picture with the kids.

And now on to the brightest part of the week... the school that I work at (which we all graduated from also) has many many issues but this is something that just melts my heart. We have many severely handicapped students and it is always amazing to watch them interact with the normal population. This is a picture of a small person (7th grade) who started at the beginning of the year. He is the cutest thing I have ever seen. Every day at snack he walks (or rides) by classroom to get to his next class. His friends give him a ride on their pull back pack. My sister sees him later in the day and she sees him on his friends shoulders. His little legs don't move very fast so he has these friends who take him to class. Hopefully I don't get fired, but I couldn't resist......he obviously doesn't know I took the picture!
