ANYONE ELSE????????
Is there anyone out there who stays up way too late every single night just because they absolutely LOVE the downtime (aka, no kid time)?? I swear that I wake up every single morning exhausted and tell myself that I have to go to bed when the kids do so I can get a "good" night sleep. Half way through the day I feel a little better and then by nighttime I SOOOOOO Love my adult time that I stay up way too late and then feel horrible the next day. It is an endless cycle and I'm going to bed right now at 9:11.......yeah right, I'm gonna watch 24 and then be awake for 2 more hours because of the adrenaline rush!!!!

Trevor's Birthday!
Where oh where has the time gone???? I cannot believe that we have a 4 year old!! Trevor turned 4 yesterday and we celebrated his birthday with a big "Super Mario Bros." party on Sunday. Many of his family and friends came over for pizza, juice, bounce house and a pinata!! Everyone had a great time and Trevor was absolutely thrilled to have everyone over to celebrate with him. On his actual birthday, Tuesday, we thought it would be a good idea to go to Disneyland and get our $60 of free birthday money and go on some rides while we were at it. We were so wrong!!! It was ridiculously crowded, and so, so hot. We didn't even make it into Disneyland, we went straight to California Adventure and only went on 3 rides. The kids were tired, hot and cranky and were both asleep by 6:45, sorry Trev!
Trevor, you have become the most sweetest and lovable little boy this last year! You gave us a run for our money between 2 1/2 and 3 1/2, but you have finally figured out that all the crying, screaming, hitting, yelling, saying "no" isn't going to get you very far. You started swimming lessons this year and learned so much in such a short period of time. We stopped through the holidays but are going to pick it up again so that you will be completely water safe by summer. At school, your teachers absolutely love you and say that you are such a well behaved, considerate and smart young boy. You continue to amaze me everyday with how bright you are. You absolutely love to learn and would do workbooks all day long. You also love reading books, the problem is once we start you never want to stop. You love playing your Wii, especially Mario Kart, Mario Sluggers and now the Wii fit!!! You just started your first season of baseball, and THANK GOD, you absolutely love it. I think you may be the youngest kid in the league (probably 200 kids total), you made the cutoff by 2 weeks! You have improved so much in the last 6 weeks and your whole family loves going to watch you play! Your baseball strengths are hitting and throwing and you need to work on catching and running fast, that's good though, we don't want you to peak too soon. You are the best big brother and your sister absolutely adores you, she is one lucky girl! You are very passionate in everything you do and also very particular. Every night before bed you HAVE to watch 2 minutes of Barney and then when I take you to bed I have to sing you the same 5 songs every single night......Santa Claus (Better Watch out), Jingle Bells, Bible song (Jesus loves me), Twinkle twinkle and Rudolph, it doesn't matter if it is July!!!!!!!
I don't think two people can love you more than your dad and I! We are so very proud of you and so thankful for you and cannot wait to watch you grow! You are our biggest and bestest boy!!!!!

A little baseball and a very short trip to the mountains...
Baseball season is in full swing, 3 days a week, every week!!! Trevor still loves it and so does the rest of the family. His coach has the idea that every kid learns to play every position (which we love). Here is a picture of Trevor playing 3rd base.
And.........Mommy's proudest moment, Trevor playing catcher!!! Here is a picture of daddy giving him tips (probably should have been mommy out there!)
Too cute!!!
After Trevor's game on Saturday we took the kids up to the mountains (Jeana's boss' cabin) for a 24 hour vacation (hahahhahahahahah). Jeana, Angie and I along with our 6 children headed up for a little trip. Our goal was to not yell and scream, not worry about what the kids were eating, and definitely not get much sleep for one night. The kids had a blast and I think me and my kids were the only ones who slept!!!

The cabin was on a half acre of land so we took advantage of the layout and spent alot of time playing soccer, baseball and looking for wild animals.

We also spent time indoors doing puzzles and playing games..

Angie's Birthday and Opening Day
Saturday was a very eventful day......it started off with opening day ceremonies for Trevor's baseball team (way too long and uneventful for 4 year olds!!), continued with a park date and ended with a nice dinner with my bestest friends!! Kind of ended.......Taylor woke up at 1:00 am and threw up in her bed, then my bed, Trevor's bed and then topped it off with the couch and carpet in the morning!!! It lasted about 8 hours and then she was perfectly fine (I guess that is good).
Here is a picture at dinner with Ang (please read Jeana's blog to know how special she is, I am so bad with words and Jeana could not have said it more perfect! You are the best Ang and I love you to death!!!)
I had to throw this picture in of Taylor and her obsession with anything girlie, this happens to be lipgloss all over her face, although it is hard to see.

Trevor had his opening day ceremonies on Saturday and although it was a little on the long and boring side, it was still pretty darn cool!!!!

A picture of his whole team holding hands as they walked to get ready for the ceremony.
Here is a video of the actual ceremony. We had to wait for about ab hour but when they called out his team and each name it was pretty exciting. THey had all of the older kids already out there and had them give high fives across the outfield. Anyone who has ever given Trev a high five knows that he means it! He is #6, starts off slow but notice how he ends up holding the line up because he wants to give such meaningful high fives (at least that is what I tell myself)!

Taylor is still loving dance and I tried to get some good video of her but my camera was acting weird, probably from my kids playing with it!
Trev's first real Dodger game is on Thursday and we are so excited!! I will try to get a play by play for all my family, you are probably all who is interested! Can't wait!!!
