Blogging funk!!!

So I have been in a blogging funk if you haven't noticed! I apologize Christy, I know how much you miss my kids and enjoy reading and seeing them. Here are some pictures of the last couple of weeks, it has been so long that I couldn't even remember what we have been up to until I looked at the pictures.....

Here is a picture of TT sitting in her time out chair which she has been doing alot more of lately. She is fascinated with cleaning, which is a good thing, but unfortunately she likes to use all the wipes and leaves them everywhere...........hence, the timeout!

I took the kids to their first Mayfair Football game a couple of weeks ago, we couldn't go on the sidelines but they had so much fun!!!

Trevor and TT with their friends Miles and Morgan at the game.

This is from one of our trips to the nature center.

We also took the kids to Sea World on Veterans Day. It was super crowded but they had tons of fun. We also got a great deal where we can come back any time through 2009 for free!!!

Last week we went over to my cousins house so he could take pictures of the kids. This is Taylor jumping in the jumperoo. She loved it when she was a baby and almost broke it as a toddler. Abby also couldn't get enough of the saucer, the only time she was contained!!!!

The kids had their Thanksgiving Feast and performance last week. I will try to upload video from it tomorrow, taking too long tonight! TT playing with her bubbles.

This was the best I could do with the both of them.

Jeana and I took Trevor and Ruby to see Bolt on Saturday. Trev said he didn't like it because it was too scary, I thought it was great.

The kids' school was closed this week so we have been tag teaming. Today I took the day off of work and we met Ang, Brady and Aubrey at Pump it Up. They had so much fun.

Most of the last week has been spent like this.........in front of the TV playing Mario Kart. Trev would play this all day everyday if we let him. It is nice to have something to hang over his head if he is a bad boy, and it keeps us all entertained!!

Our neighbors gave us this little bike last week and Don took trev out today to see if he could ride it, first time.......can you believe it????? He never even rode the one with training wheels that he got for his birthday because it was too tall for him, I think he is going to bypass the training wheels!

I will try to be better, I promise!!!

Pumpkins,Halloween, Weekend Fun and............Small People

On Thursday night we (Don) carved our pumpkins, this was the winner, isn't it good? Trev and TT lasted about 5 minutes. Trevor wasn't real excited about putting his hand in the goop but did it only because his 2 year old sister did it first.

Kind of out of order, but on Sunday we spent the day at my parents house. I was trying to keep the kids up and not give them naps because I really really wanted to go to bed early and have a little bit of piece and quit. This is what the living room looked like before we left (don't worry...I always clean before we leave).

My mom reading a book to TT.

Papa reading a book to Trev, isn't this picture great???

We busted out the Disney Bingo game that we have and they loved it. TT is finally at the age that she actually plays and not messes it all up, Abby on the other hand...........which is why they are all sitting at the island!!!

On Halloween night we had both families over for some trick or treating and pizza. The kids dressed up as matching pirates (thanks mom....she made both of their costumes and they were so so cute). We trick or treated for almost 2 hours and the kids did great. I had to go home about half way through to get the push car for TT and a grocery bag for the candy because their bags were weighing them down. I'm so bummed though because I didn't get hardly and pictures, nanny is the only one who got a picture with the kids.

And now on to the brightest part of the week... the school that I work at (which we all graduated from also) has many many issues but this is something that just melts my heart. We have many severely handicapped students and it is always amazing to watch them interact with the normal population. This is a picture of a small person (7th grade) who started at the beginning of the year. He is the cutest thing I have ever seen. Every day at snack he walks (or rides) by classroom to get to his next class. His friends give him a ride on their pull back pack. My sister sees him later in the day and she sees him on his friends shoulders. His little legs don't move very fast so he has these friends who take him to class. Hopefully I don't get fired, but I couldn't resist......he obviously doesn't know I took the picture!

Baseball fun

A video of the kids playing baseball in the house. TT is not so athletic yet....as you can see!!!

Sunday already?????

Friday morning the kids had "grandparents day" at their school, as you can see they were well represented. With two kids at the same school I thought each child needed at least 2 grandparents at all times so papa, mimi, nanny and grams all showed up. The kids loved having their grandparents with them. Grandma Aneth with two of her grandchildren.
On Sunday morning Jeana and I wanted to wear the kids out early so that they would take early naps......not sure if it worked for her but definitely not for me. We went to the nature center and took the 2 mile trail. I think Trevor ran the entire thing and TT must have walked/ran at least a mile to a mile 1/2. They had a great time and besides Trevor running off one time following an old man and his stick, they all behaved great. Here is a picture of Trevor and his hiking stick (we definitely need to take him hiking more often).

It is impossible to get a cute picture of the two of them. She is so photo-genic (spelling) and he is so not!! Every picture he takes you can tell he is saying "cheese" , any other ideas to get him to smile????

I have 3 of these pictures, Trevor looks bad in all of them so here is one that Ruby looks cute in!

Looking at the turtles. I need to look at this often because she had a rough weekend!!

After the nature center we took the train through El Dorado park, they loved it!!!

One of the few cute moments with TT this weekend. Not sure what is up with her, she is usually my lover, but she cried most of the weekend. Here she is looking at the letters on the sign singing her "ABC's" . I cannot believe that I already have to go back to work tomorrow, so not fair!!!!! I love my job and my students but working full time and trying to get everything done around the house SUCKS!!!! I'm done complaining, I know I'm very lucky!!!

Trick or Treating at California Adventure

Last night Trevor, Brady, Ruby, Angie, Jeana and I went to California Adventure to go trick or treating. Besides the late start and the late night, it was awesome. The kids got to wear their costumes (thanks mom) and walk around the park and get candy from different stations. Ruby was a cowgirl, Brady was Mr. Incredible and Trevor was a pirate.

Here is a picture of Trevor with the real life scarecrow. It was so cute because they were talking to each other.

Me and my little pirate.

Mr. Incredible and the pirate on the ladybug ride.

We also got to go on the new Toy Story ride. The line was much shorter than normal so we did it and it was pretty cool.

WHat a great night!! My poor little TT stayed home with auntie Kelly and I felt so bad because I know she would have loved it, next year TT, I promise!!!!

Just for you Courtney....

I'm absolutely exhausted right now but I saw Courtney's comment and decided to suck it up and post when I should be in bed asleep. It has been over a week and you know how we like to keep busy, so here are a few things that we have been doing...... Just this weekend....I got off from work on Friday and picked up the kids from school and took Trev to swimming lessons (he is doing soooo awesome, by the way. On Friday he dove into the water through a hula hoop). I will do another post with pics from that. After swimming we met Jeana and her kids at McDonalds (first time) to let them play. Saturday morning we were at the gym by 8:30 then went to Trevor's soccer and then to Jackson's birthday party (great party Azure!!!). After naps I got to leave for the evening for Bunco (we had so much fun, they even had a karaoke machine!!) Sunday was the same. Jeana, Kelly and I took the kids to the LA Zoo. It was so fun and the kids had a great time. We had a coupon and were able to bring in all of our lunches so it worked out great! This evening the Allens, Jeana, Kelly and I hung out and watched the baseball game (the game was on but with 6 kids running around there is not much watching going on). That was just this weekend, here are some pics from the last week or so.

Zoo pictures

Last weekend we were at Jeanas one night and she set up a pumpkin painting night. The kids had a blast painting pumpkins.....even though the set up was much longer than the actual task!!

The best part of the last couple of weeks had to be the NKOTB concert. It was 30,000 women that filled the Staples center and the concert was AWESOME!!!! They played all of their old songs and we never sat down. The next day at work I told all my freshman about it and also made them listen to a song.....so funny, one of my football players added "Step by Step" to his myspace and makes me play it every Thursday to get him pumped up for his game!
It was also Kelly's birthday last weekend so we spent the weekend celebrating that.

We have another busy week, I will try to be better with my posts.

Neil, Museums and Boat Rides......

Me, Kelly and Jeana at Neil Diamond

Here is a picture of half of our group.

Mom and Debby

Ang, Claire, Ayesha, Amanda and Mike on the bus ride to the Hollywood Bowl.

TT had a blast at the museum. She would not let go of this wagon and wanted to put everything into it. Here is a picture of her throwing a fit because she couldn't get it up the stairs. Isn't that so cute??

Trev and TT on the carousel.

Ruby, Trev and TT petting the fake wolf. They got M & M's for this picture.

Trev, TT and papa on the boat ride.

Me and my lovebugs. They are the BEST (most of the time).

THis is a video of TT singing Twinkle Twinkle on the microphone for everyone to hear at the museum. Too cute!!!

We have had a very busy few days (nothing new!!!) On Thursday night we had a mother/daughter girls night out and went to see Neil Diamond. There were 12 of us and we all had a great time. We took the park and ride bus ($5 each) and it drove us all the way to the Hollywood Bowl and back (did I mention that you can drink on the bus???) I don't know many of his songs and we had ALMOST the worst seats in the entire place but I think we all had a wonderful time. Friday night we met some friends at the park for a couple hours, Trev had a blast playing with Kade and before he got there he was playing baseball with a little 10 and 12 year old boy...they were so patient with him! Saturday morning I met Jeana and her kids and we all went to the La Habra Childrens Museum. It was free to get in and the kids had so much fun. I took Trev there when TT was just a newborn so he wasn't even 2 and he had so much more fun this time. After naps today we went down to the ocean and rented one of those little Duffy boats with my family. My aunt Judy is here from out of town so we thought she would enjoy a little ride through the harbor. Off to work tomorrow.....boo!!! Although on Wednesday we get to go see NKOTB!!!! Hangin Tough!
