Calling names....
Trevor got in trouble AGAIN at school today, well actually it was from yesterday. He had a note on the sign out sheet from his teacher from yesterday that read, "Trevor is not being a good friend, he is calling his friends names". I see this when I drop him off this morning but his teacher is not there yet so I can't talk to her. I'm totally stressing out about it all day thinking, "What in the world would he say, we really try to watch our language around him". I pick him up this afternoon and of course the first thing I ask is, "how was he today?" She said he was good, much better than the last 2 days. I then ask what names he was calling his friends and she says "poo poo heads". I'm laughing inside and breathing a sigh of relief at the same time and I wanted to say, "at least it wasn't sh--head"!!! Where in the heck would he learn that except for at school.

Picking battles

It was one of those days. I have to choose the battles that I want to pick with both kids because I would literally be fighting them all day long. Taylor loves to take everything out of this cabinet and most of the time I don't let her but there are days that I just don't feel like fighting her about it. Trevor has had 2 bad days at school in a row and I'm so upset about it I want to cry. Yesterday he got his first time out for not getting off of a chair that his teacher asked him to get off 3 times and today she said he didn't listen to her most of the day. That is not like him. He may not behave at home but he is usually great at school. Now I am so distraught over it and not knowing what to do. I threatened him with a spanking but does that really work 3 hours later after he gets picked up??? Lets just hope he behaves tomorrow or it is going to be a looooong weekend.

How many times can a child pee????
You all know how we have been working with Trevor and his potty training and he has been doing outstanding. Only one poop in a pull up in over a week. But seriously, how many times can they pee???? He literally goes pee 12 times a day and poops probably 4 times a day. We can't keep up! It is hard to get excited that many times a day. It is so cute, every time he goes TT wants to be in the bathroom with him and then she says, "Yaaaahhh, pee pee" and gives him a high five. That is about the only cute thing she has been doing the last couple of days, if you know what I mean!

A Little Privacy Please!

The first update I need to talk about is my little boy who FINALLY has sort of figured out potty training. He has been so stubborn about it but we had some HUGE milestones this last week. First, he pooped at school, Second, he went up to Don on Thursday and said, "I go poo poo on potty daddy" and he actually went (and continued to do so about 5 times within 30 minutes). I think he got so excited that he went that he would just go a little and get up. He now will do a big poop and even go at my parents and in public!!! Today we were at Jeana's house for a little while and he got too caught up in Baby Einstein that he peed in his pants, but we are making great progress. Tonight we were at my parents house and my mom and sister took the kids in the jacuzzi for their bath (like they do 1-2 times a week) and for the first time ever one of the kids pooped in the jacuzzi. It had to be Taylor but nobody knows for sure. Papa was not very happy.
I don't have any pictures from my night out with the girls on Friday, BUT why did none of you tell me that they don't serve alcohol at the Blue Bayou??????? We waited for 45 minutes (after our reservation time) and sat down to find out they didn't have any wine! WE almost walked out J/K. The food was great and the company even greater. We were just shocked to find that nobody told us about the alcohol part, especially after everyone we told said, "I was wondering why you were going there" NICE!!! THANKS!

Pink eye
Trevor came home from school yesterday with pink eye....the first time for either of the kids. We caught it super early because we knew he had been exposed and the eye drops are miraculous. Besides the fact that I have to pin him down with all of my body weight (and you all know that that is alot!!!), they literally made it completely better within 24 hours. I went ahead and gave them to TT tonight just for precautionary reasons. I can't have her get it because tomorrow night is a big night out. It is Angie's birthday and so we have reservations at the restaurant in Pirates of the Carribean at DIsneyland, just the girls, CAN'T WAIT!!!

Fun at the Allens'

On Monday I had off work and Don got off that morning so he went to The Allen's and slept in Brady's bed and waited for us to get there. We drove up after TT's nap and stayed most of the day. The kids had so much fun and get along so great. It is so funny to watch Brady and Trevor play, they get upset when the other isn't paying attention and they just want to play "guns" all the time. It has only been the last few months that they have learned how to "play" with eachother, at least that Trevor has learned how to play. So much fun to watch!!!

Another busy weekend
Is it bad when your son wakes up in the morning and the first thing out of his mouth is, "What are we going to do today mommy?". Trevor is so used to going going going on the weekends that he now expects us to always have a full day of plans. On Saturday I went to the gym in the morning and took the kids to the "Kidzone". We went straight to the park to meet Jeana and her kids and stayed for a couple of hours. The kids came home and took a nap which allowed me to take a shower and get myself ready. When they woke up we went to Treovor's friend Miles birthday party. I was by myself with the two kids and they both had a blast. We came home and the kids went straight to bed and I was asleep by 8:15. On Sunday we woke up and my parents took the kids to breakfast so that I could go to the gym and come home and take a quick shower. I went and picked up the kids and we again headed off to the park to meet Jeana. After a couple hours at the park we came home and the kids slept for about 3 hours, IT WAS OUTSTANDING!!!!! I got to go sit outside in the sun and read my magazine. The best part of the weekend was on Sunday night when I got to go meet two of my college softball friends for dinner. We drove out to the Spectrum and had dinner at Yard House. It was so nice to catch up, we ended up sitting at the restaurant for 3 hours. Thank goodness I don't have to work today so I can actually get some stuff done around the house. We are going to go visit the Allen's a little later after Taylor wakes up from her nap. Don is currently taking a nap on Brady's bed waiting for us to get there.
