Rainy Days
I remember (before I had kids) how much I used to love a rainy day. I would rent a bunch of movies, lay on the couch, drink hot chocolate and watch/sleep through the movies. Now that I have kids rainy days are a nightmare. You can only keep your kids entertained inside for so long. We try to go do things but even getting to the car in the rain is a pain. Both of the kids are sleeping now and have been for over 2 hours and I have been online shopping way too long, Don is going to kill me. These are the things you have to do in the rain.....that is what I will blame it on!

Thanks for reminding me that I enjoy my life way too much to have kids. I have been in my pj's all day : )
We have 4 kids under 3 1/2 here at kelsey's right now with the rain non stop since yesterday. I have to admit, we sent the 3 older ones outside and they were sliding down into a puddle of water about 4 inches high. They didn't care so we didn't. If they catch colds, we will deny it!!!
You and the kids will be fine! It never rains in Calif, or the song goes! Come to the northeast where you don't go outside for months and you never see the sun? Moms here just bundle them up in snow suits,let them go crazy for a while, bring them in hot and sweaty and let the colds begin! Maybe ice hockey is the ticket!

good thing you live in ca. I still love rainy days. I feel bad for the kids though. wish I had a fire place!!
