Baseball Star

We had a very uneventful (normal) weekend. Don had to work all weekend so we found time to see our friends. On Friday night we went over to Jeana's house and hung out until bedtime. Saturday morning I went to the gym and then took the kids to Chick-fil-a to eat lunch, play on the toddler (inside) playground and get my car washed. Who would have thought you could kill 3 birds with one stone? After naps we headed out to our friend Jack's birthday party. The kids had a blast and had the best hot dogs (or at least mommy thought so) and most importantly came home EXHAUSTED.

Sunday morning we went to breakfast and hung out at my parents house. Trevor played baseball for most of the afternoon and as you can tell he had the time of his life. This is a video of him hitting the ball and running the bases. He refuses to stand next to home plate and wants to stand ON it, he says he is only trying to concentrate.

I can't believe that I already have to go back to work tomorrow. It seems like the week days last forever and the weekends go by so quick. I'm sure it is because of the kids and the guilt. Trevor actually has been a great boy these last couple of days which makes it even harder, thinking that he is misbehaving more when I'm at work. Let's hope we have a great week and he was just going through another one of his "stages"----(how many do they have???)

Watching that reminded me of Ethan and Emily when they were little. The stages last forever, Ethan is 14 and going through a "stage" constantly these days.

I am sure he will be fine this week. You know kids, they like to switch it up a bit for excitement... it will be TT's turn to misbehave and Trevor will be an angel.

Thanks Kim! I needed that b/c I've had a terrible morning! And your right about the stages... once you get them figured out, they change on you!

Trevor was so funny playing baseball yesterday. I taught him to "concentrate" and now that is all he says.
I agree with you, I can't believe I am back at work already. The weekends fly by way too fast.
