Last couple of weeks

I was off for 3 months for summer and I'm having the hardest time getting back into the groove. I don't know how I was a full time working mom. How did I ever have time to do laundry, clean the house, make meals, go grocery shopping AND take care of kids while working??????? I'm feeling overwhelmed, but I'm sure it is just trying to get back into the swing of things. Here is a little of what has been going on....

***Both of the kids are now going to school on Mon, Wed and Fri. Trevor is as happy as can be and TT enjoys it as long as she is with her brother. Her teacher says that as soon as they get separated to their own classrooms she loses her mind. That makes me happy and sad. I love that they are so close but it breaks my heart that she misses him. On a good note...each day she has been at school she has been going pee on the potty. I wish I had more energy to work on it at home!!!

***Don has been working extremely long hours and lots of overtime. That sucks...but we definitely need the money, I think all we did was spend money all summer! He just got his new schedule which starts in a couple of weeks and he works on Fri, Sat and Sun nights, isn't that GREAT? Seriously, that is the worst schedule he can possible have. I have to keep telling myself that it is only temporary.

*** My new students are great so far, but it is always like that in the beginning. I'm reading New Moon (Twilight series) and have so much trouble putting it down. The problem is that I no longer have those 2 hours each day of nap time. The kids are awake by the time I get home and after they are in bed I'm way to exhausted.

I have tons of pictures and much more to share but I'm going on a date with my husband, so maybe this weekend!!!

Hang in there Kim, TT will start liking school, she is still little. And you will get back into the swing of things, there is always an adjustment period. That's the good and bad about summer. Thinking about you, you will survive!
