Bedtime Nigtmares
I'm sitting here writing this post with BOTH of my children still awake at 9:37pm. TT is screaming her head off in her bed and Trevor refuses to go to bed with her screaming. I'm not really sure how I have created this problem, but I have. They used to be the best sleepers and now my almost 2 year old is waking up once every night. Trevor sleeps good once he is in there but it is the whole process of getting him to bed. I thought about recording TT and putting it on here just so you could all COMPLETELY understand what I am listening too. I know you are thinking "just take Trevor in there and put him to bed and let her cry it out". She is literally screaming her ever living head off and he starts crying when he hears her and wants to go console her. My stress level is through the roof right now and I am really at a loss for what to do. I guess they will fall asleep eventually and then be nightmares tomorrow! Fun fun!!!

aww Kim, that is very sweet of you to make me feel like I'm not the only one!! j/k It's HELL, pure HELL when you feel like there is nothing you can do to fix it. I just wish I could figure out what was creating the problem and never ever do it again. Good luck, I hope it was a rare event for you!
As if we don't do enough to keep them busy(a.k.a. wear them out) ALL DAY LONG, the least they could do is go to sleep! Hope tonight is better. I am sure they will be perfect this weekend when we are gone, of course.
I hate those kind of nights!
Sounds like Mimi is going to have her hands full this weekend . . . and you will have a chance to rest, renew, and return with a transformed mind set!
Kim,
Is she still taking really long naps? I hate to say it but you might have to cut those back, Emily stopped taking naps at around 2 because she would stay up until 11.
Isn't parenting fun!
Love, Christy
