Today was Ruby's birthday party. You all know how my kids LOVE spending time at the Mitzner/Feolo house, probably second to Papa and Mimi's house. They were soooo excited to spend the day with Ruby and one of the most gigantic bounce houses that I have ever seen. They both had good mornings and took GREAT naps (at the same time) and were ready to go at 3:15 (we even made it on time!!!). Taylor's croup was getting the best of her and she literally could not stop coughing. She coughed sooo much that she puked all over me. My wonderful parents who were also going to the party took her home because of her coughing. SO, there I was at a party by myself with just Trevor (easy, right?) About 30 minutes later he was saying that his tummy hurt but I just brushed it off because he always gets sad when his sister isn't feeling good. I really thought it was some gas pains. He would be fine, running and jumping for long periods of time and then would come over to say he hurt. After about 2 hours Trevor decided that he too needed to throw up on his mommy. NICE, two kids in one night!!! We left the party and of course they have both been fine all night.
Mommy is exhausted and Daddy just started his work week and will not be off until Wednesday! Good times, good times!!!!

OMG! I bet you you spelled soooo good by the end of the night. Instead of bringing extra clothes for your kids...you need to bring extra clothes for you!
Oh, Kim! Sometimes don't you feel like God is testing you??? I have learned so much from you as a friend and mother... I hope your week is easier - just think - summer is almost here!!!
There was a period where I thought I would never leave my house because Mallory was so sick...I considered us the bubble family. This too will pass...eventually. Hang in there!!!
Seriously, could you even imagine what life would be like if we were one of those families that transferred to another state for work or something and didn't have our parents 2 minutes away??? I hope they feel better and no one else gets sick (o:
